Update on the 2023 Season! – Two Rivers Resort

Spokane Tribal Enterprises wanted to provide an update regarding the upcoming 2023 Season and provide some clarification regarding the on-going situation at the Two Rivers Resort Marina and RV Park, (“Resort”).

First, the Resort will be open for the 2023 Season.

Second, due to the landslide located near the dock we understand that you may have questions about your safety and access to the Resort. Please know that your safety is our number one priority, and we are taking all necessary steps to keep you and your guests safe. These steps include closure of the boat ramp for launching purposes and no access to the picnic area south of the Spoko Station that overlooks the Marina. At this time, there is no imminent threat to your safety or property. With this in mind, please ensure that you and your guests comply with any signage around areas that are restricted – this is for your safety.

Third, we have heard some questions related to if the Resort were to have to close, would we get our money back? Spokane Tribal Enterprises wants to reassure you that in the unfortunate event of any closure at the Resort, you are entitled to a refund pursuant to our policies.

Lastly, we want you to know that we continue to monitor the landslide situation closely and are actively looking for solutions. We will continue to keep you informed of any changes to the situation.

We can’t wait to see you this 2023 Season!

Spokane Tribal Enterprises

A letter to our guests of Two Rivers Resort

Dear Valued Guests of Two Rivers Resort,

My name is Jesse Moss, and I am the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) for STE and I am excited to help plan for a fun and exciting season at Two Rivers Resort.

We have had a significant change in management and decided to restructure Two Rivers Resort which will be in the best interest of the facility and overall tribal enterprise business. We have also had the opportunity to take a long hard look at what Two Rivers Resort is and plan our short term and long-term goals.

Over the past few weeks, we have received complaints regarding unconfirmed and misinformed price increases for the 2022 RV and Moorage Season, (“Season”). The complaints have been heard and STE is working diligently to fairly price our Two Rivers Season, while balancing the need for continued operations and facility improvements in a challenging economic time with inflation rates at an all-time high and continued impacts due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

STE, in cooperation with STE’s Board of Directors and the Spokane Tribal Business Council have evaluated the enclosed price increases to ensure consistency with the business landscape and the services and amenities Two Rivers Resort provides.

If you have any questions, please contact me directly. I will be your main point of contact with anything related to the Spokane Tribe’s Two Rivers Resort.

We hope that you will continue to stay with us and share in the new and exciting changes that await the Resort!

Sincerely,

Jesse R. Moss II

A Letter from Spokane Tribal Enterprises Administration

Valued Guests,

The Two Rivers Resort was established in 1995 as one of the first large scale Spokane Tribe of Indians for profit business ventures. Since that time thousands of visitors and guests have come to this tranquil and breathtaking spot, we call home and enjoyed this amazing recreational opportunity. Unfortunately, throughout the years’ time has taken its toll.

We are taking steps to revitalize and improve our Resort with several infrastructure overhauls and some exciting new improvements. Thus far we have repaired and improved two sets of Power Distribution Boxes on the Marina Docks, with the reminder being scheduled as time and resources permit. We are conducting a massive clean-up project and possible rehabilitation of the Old Casino Building into some other useful addition to the resort. Additionally, we are putting up new security fencing and limiting access to the park during non-operational hours as well as installing a limited access security gate to the Marina. Our maintenance crew is developing a new workorder system that will streamline customer maintenance reports and issues. In the general area of the park, we are reestablishing green spaces and opening more areas of the park for recreational activities. For our guests who love their pets we are creating a least two fenced pet recreational areas. And, for those who just cannot live without being connected we are installing a new customer internet access that will allow for more service for your leisure time surfing.

We at the Spokane Tribal Enterprises have recognized these disparities and are now taking these steps and many more to revitalize and improve our Resort. It is our goal to bring back our value and appeal for you to see.  As with anything like this it takes money and unfortunately, we need to fund these improvements through increased costs for use. These new costs can now be found in one convenient location in our Guest Policy Manual under “Appendix A.” This will be available to our guests by our April 1st Park opening date. It is our hope that this new format will allow you as the guest an easy to read, and in an understandable format for our future pricing at the Resort.

We truly appreciate your patronage at the Two Rivers Resort and hope that you understand that we are improving by employing more staff, make much needed repairs and improve the quality of your stay while you are visiting us. We want your experience with us to be a positive one.

We encourage innovative or creative thoughts or ideas that you may have so that you may continue to choose Two Rivers Resort for your recreational needs. We look forward to your answering your constructive questions or comments.

Sincerely,
